1. Agreeing to these terms

By using vectistechnologies.com, a site operated by Vectis Works, you accept these terms of use. Anyone who does not accept them should stop using the site.

2. What this site is

The site gives information about the services Vectis Works offers in shop-floor data, dashboards, software and automation. It makes no offer capable of forming a contract. Each engagement is governed by its own written agreement, signed by both sides, and that agreement prevails wherever it differs from these terms.

3. Sample dashboards and figures

All dashboards, charts and figures on this site and in the sample dashboard are built from representative sample data, to show the type of views Vectis Works creates. None of them reports a client's results, and none promises an outcome.

4. Emails from Vectis Works

Vectis Works may write by email to professionals in roles connected to its services. Replying to any such email is enough to stop them. The privacy policy sets out how the information behind those emails is handled and how to make requests about it.

5. Rules for using the site

Use of the site must be lawful. Do not interfere with or disrupt it, attempt to reach it or its underlying systems without authorization, test it for vulnerabilities, or copy its content with automated tools.

6. Ownership of content

Vectis Works or its licensors own the text, graphics, logos and other material on this site. Viewing or printing pages as a reference within your own business is permitted. Any further use, such as copying, distribution or reuse, requires written permission from Vectis Works. Ownership of work delivered to a client is governed by that client's written agreement.

7. Third-party sites and services

The site contains links to vectisworks.com and to the sample dashboard, and its typeface is loaded from Google Fonts. Those services are run by others under their own terms and policies, which apply when you use them, and Vectis Works has no responsibility for them.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Content on the site is general information, offered on an "as available" and "as is" basis. Where the law permits, Vectis Works disclaims every warranty, whether express or implied, including any warranty of non-infringement, merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose, and any warranty of error-free or uninterrupted operation. The site does not give legal, financial, engineering or other professional advice.

9. Limits on liability

Where the law permits, Vectis Works bears no liability for punitive, consequential, special, incidental or indirect damages, nor for loss of revenue, profit, data or opportunity, resulting from the site or its use. Vectis Works' total liability for any claim connected with the site cannot exceed one hundred US dollars.

10. Your indemnity

If your misuse of the site, or a breach of these terms by you, results in claims, losses or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, you will indemnify Vectis Works and its agents, team members and owners, and hold them harmless.

11. Applicable law and arbitration

Tennessee law governs these terms, without applying Tennessee's rules on conflicts of law. Unless the law prohibits it, any dispute concerning the site or these terms goes to binding arbitration, held in Nashville, Tennessee, and conducted under American Arbitration Association rules.

12. Other terms

Should a court hold any provision of these terms unenforceable, every other provision continues to apply. Choosing not to enforce a provision does not waive it. Together with the privacy policy, these terms form the whole agreement between you and Vectis Works concerning the site. Vectis Works may revise them, and the effective date above identifies the version in force.
